What is a function sheet?
A function sheet, also called a BEO, event order or run sheet, is the document that tells every department what happens at an event: timings, rooms, setups, menus, AV and special requests. In GRAND it's generated straight from the booking, so it's always current.
Do function sheets update automatically when the booking changes?
Yes. The sheet and the booking are the same data. Change the headcount, the menu or a timing, on either one, and every sheet, on every device, shows the new version instantly. Nobody works from Tuesday's printout.
Can each department see only their own information?
Yes. Every department gets its own section on the sheet, with its own columns, the kitchen sees quantities and dietaries, technicians see the setup and AV, cleaning sees the turnaround. It's one document underneath, so the sections can never drift apart.
