Proposals as inviting as the view
Kobæk Strand Hotel & Konference runs 16 meeting rooms and 123 hotel rooms in the first row by the Great Belt. Their legacy system had stopped keeping up, so the conference team is moving sales and events onto GRAND, led by a proposal module they fell in love with.

About
Kobæk Strand Hotel & Konference sits on a 43,000 m² natural plot in the first row by the Great Belt near Skælskør, 50 metres from the beach and just over an hour from Copenhagen. A conference venue since 1969, the house today offers 16 meeting rooms for up to 250 participants, 123 hotel rooms, a restaurant built on local produce, and a beach bar on the sand.
From one-day meetings and residential conferences to team building, celebrations and holiday stays, Kobæk Strand hosts a busy mix of business and leisure all year round. Under new ownership, the ambition is clear: combine the location's natural calm with an operation that is modern, flexible and easy to do business with. That ambition is what led them to GRAND.
Challenge
Kobæk Strand had run its conference business on the same legacy system for years, and it was no longer keeping up. Proposals were assembled by hand and looked like it, a change to an event meant re-typing, and every new expectation from bookers, faster answers, online acceptance, a polished digital experience, ran into the limits of software built for a different decade. The team knew the pace and the presentation had to change, and that patching the old system would not get them there.
Solution
When the team saw GRAND Sales & Events, the decision came easily, and the proposal module sealed it. Every enquiry becomes a branded, interactive proposal in minutes: meeting rooms, accommodation, catering and activities priced and presented in one place, with add-ons built in, e-signature on top and automated follow-ups underneath. Function sheets follow from the booking, so the kitchen and the conference floor read the same details, and the team works in a system that is developed every month rather than one that stands still.
Looking ahead
Implementation is underway, and the go-live is set: by the end of the year, every proposal and every event at Kobæk Strand runs through GRAND Sales & Events. From there, the team is looking forward, to automations that follow up on their behalf, to AI that drafts the routine work away, and to a platform that keeps getting better without another migration. For a house that has been welcoming guests by the beach since 1969, it is a very deliberate step into the future.

More proposals sent. More events won.
KolleKolle wanted proposals that looked as good as the house. With GRAND Sales & Events they go out in minutes, and the team converts more and upsells more along the way.

Chosen for the vision: not just the features
Fjordgaarden, West Jutland's spa and conference hotel, runs its events on GRAND Sales & Events today, and goes full GRAND PMS in summer 2027, betting on an AI-first platform built for the next decade.

Migrated in two weeks. Intuitive from day one.
Egelund Slot expected a system change to mean a painful migration and weeks of training. They migrated themselves in two weeks, and the system made sense from day one.
